Imaging Session – 21st Nov 2021

Imaging session with the WO 61 Zenithstar and ZWO 183C of NGC 5070 the Pelican Nebula.

  • Used the ASIAir
  • Polar alligned okay and did a good autofocus at 2136 wit an HFR of 1.8.
  • Took a few shots to properly allign the target

Some of the stars in the corners on this image are elongated.

Ended up checking backspacing settings, which I previously had neglected to look at. It turns out I had around 65mm of backfocus between the Z61R Reducer and the camera sensor including 6.5mm into the camera). The setting on the reducer itself was set to 1mm as per the manual.
