The ZWO Seestar S50 is an all-in-one smart telescope designed for easy astrophotography through automation, including focusing and tracking. It features an apochromatic triplet refractor (50mm aperture, 250mm focal length, f/5 ratio) and a Sony IMX462 color CMOS sensor, making it suitable for beginners and outreach. Firmware updates have enhanced plate-solving and exposure stability, while ASCOM compatibility and an EQ mode for longer exposures (up to 60 seconds) with reduced field rotation expand its capabilities
